key holding security guards

Our key holding and alarm response service is greatly increasing in demand from Residential, Corporate and Business Park clients. This service alleviates the ‘human error’ factor of losing or misplacing keys and the inconvenience of responding to an alarm. MPW take the stress out of the situation for you by responding to, and dealing with, all eventualities including delivering your key to you when you get back from holiday!

MPW operate in accordance with BS7984 and BS7499 standards providing a 24 hour 7 days a week service. Keys are held at a secure location and only identifiable by a security code number. A database maintains up-to-date site instructions, required alarm codes and client contact numbers.

The responsibility of providing keyholding and alarm services requires a rapid, professional and effective response. MPW mobile patrol units collect the keys and attend the premises within a 15 minute response time. All mobile units are tracked from our main control centre and equipped with a real time tracking device.

MPW will manage all alarm activations, including accidental, providing practical support and reassurance to our clients, thus removing the associated risks and challenges of having a member of your staff acting as a keyholder.

Security personnel are fully trained to deal with all situations whether it is a false alarm or real incident. Reports are submitted for all sites that have been entered into and checked and a copy of the report given to the client. MPW security personnel remain on site until the property is fully secured and the risk has been expunged.

“Really impressed with your quick reaction to our requirements when our warehouse shutter broke, professional and swift response to our emergency, and we have not been let down once, would highly recommend.”

"Travelodge has partnered with MPW for over 15 years supporting our hotels with security requirements, in recent years as demands have changed within the hospitality industry we have also required differing levels of security support such as new build property, co-located building management and vacant property management.

MPW can be relied on at any time of the day and at short notice which makes them a unique and trusted provider in their industry and I would have no hesitation in recommending their services."

Mark Timmins Head of Outsourced Maintenance, Travelodge Hotels.

"MPW provided a quick and effective service when I needed to secure a contentious site on extremely short notice.

Within a matter of hours,  Caroline and Michael had visited the site, ascertained potential points of entry and put together a security plan.

The process was seamless and they provided regular feedback and reporting of attempted trespass.

I would highly recommend MPW for vacant property protection."

Oliver Thompson Director, Thompson and Williams Property Consultants and Land Agents

“The service provided by MPW over the past 4 years has been invaluable, particularly during the pandemic period, where we have needed to call on them to support with the short notice closure and reopening of our premises. The security operatives provided are well trained and do a great job in dealing with some difficult situations. On the rare situations we have had to raise an issue the response from the Head Office support team has been immediate and always focused upon delivering a positive outcome for our operational teams.”

Jason, Head of Safety & Security
